At what distance are you able to detect a pedestrian wearing a reflector, if you have the full beam headlights on?
If you are driving with the full beam headlights on you are able to detect a pedestrian wearing a reflector at about 450 metres.
Visibility is reduced if:
- You are dazzled by an oncoming vehicle.
- It is raining or snowing heavily.
- It is foggy.
- Your car's headlight covers are dirty, scratched or in poor condition.
- Your car's windshield is dirty, scratched or in poor condition.
